Star
Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith

Star
Wars Episode 3 |
|||||
| After nearly 30
years, George Lucas can finally bring the curtain down on more than
one Empire with this the final prequel to the classic movies he spawned
in 1977. Everybody might know that Anakin Skywalker (Christensen) is going to turn to the Dark Side, that his wife, Padme (Portman), is going to give birth to twins, Luke & Leia and that C3PO will remain a camp guardian angel / rust-bucket, throughout. The question is, how? |

The story is an intricate tying up of
loose ends, which never fails to enthral at every turn, whereas the
sets and effects simply amaze. The final battle scene on a lava - covered
planet are breathtaking and worth the admission price alone. Episode I of the trilogy was a disappointment
that gave the world Ja-Ja Binks, Episode II an improvement that saw
Ja-Ja Binks destroyed and the third is a film of such immense proportion
and satisfaction that it has to be seen to be believed, not least for
the fact that Ja-Ja Binks isn't in it. High Noon in space it may be, but what
a fitting finale to a classic series of films that gave birth to movie
merchandising as we know it and almost single handedly rejuvenated interest
in movie going, around the world. If for nothing else, Lucas should
be praised to the stars for this alone. |
