Life, at times, can be hectic for lawyer-by-day and author-by-night Martin
Edwards, though he wouldn’t have it any other way. Martin’s
Lake District Mysteries to date, The Coffin Trail
and The Cipher Garden, have both been extremely well received,
while his debut novel featuring Harry Devlin, All the Lonely People,
was short-listed for the CWA John Creasey Memorial Dagger. Martin is also
the author of the stand-alone psychological thriller, Take My Breath
Away and completed the late Bill Knox’s last book, The
Lazarus Widow.
Martin
has edited 14 crime anthologies, his own collected stories appear in Where
Do You Find Your Ideas? and, in 2002, he published a book about homicide
investigation, Urge To Kill.
He
is a partner in law firm Mace & Jones of Liverpool and Manchester
and has published seven other non-fiction books and many articles and
reviews.
Martin
lives in Cheshire with his wife and children and his work is published
by Alison & Busby.
