As
a part of the MA in Writing course that I completed at Liverpool
John Moores University for example, we were encouraged how
to analyse and be critical of other authors so that we might
see how their work has been transferred from mind to page.
As a result, sometimes, a bad book (not that there are many)
might be worth its weight in gold, as by recognising it
as such shows that I feel I could do better than the author
and so be inspired to write that better book or story, do
you see?
So, although a lot of the reviews here will feature some
of my favourite experiences, authors & artists, there
will also be those that I feel are to be avoided at all
costs - at least, in my humble opinion, any way.
 Naturally,
you can feel at liberty to TOTALLY disagree with me. In
fact I encourage you to totally disagree with me, as long
as its not a simplistic disagreement such as 'Chris, you're
wrong 'cos I liked it a lot.' The views here are just of
MY OPINION to which I claim my just right to express. Anyway,
