Think
that all Chris de Burgh songs are smoochie and soft ballads? Think Again!
Yes I admit he has recorded his fair share of
that genre, however read on to discover some of the amazing rock guitar
solos and riffs that have been recorded on Chris de Burgh tracks
throughout the years.
As
an ex lead guitar player myself I feel it only right to start with what
I regard as the creme de la creme first.
On lead guitar for this was Canadian freelance guitar player - Tim Wynveen. Tim who is now a successful author living in Toronto recorded this amazing 32 second solo-
'THE REVOLUTION' TRILOGY SOLO - REAL AUDIO
How would a solo like this sound played live? Well,put it in the hands of the incredible Canadian Guitarist and CdeB band member for many years - Danny McBride, and you get this sensational 30 second version from the 1990 Album 'High On Emotion Live From Dublin'.

Other
classic examples of Tim Wynveen's riffs and guitar work
can be heard in the last minute of the title track to the 'Eastern Wind'
album recorded in Canada 1980-

The final track, and in my opinion the finest CdeB track ever, was another trilogy entitled - 'The Leader', 'The Vision', 'What About Me'.
